Yallo enables spontaneous, authentic human interactions without mandatory user accounts, profiles, tracking, or invasive registration forms. Built by Moor, an independent web developer and IT engineer based in Marrakech, Morocco, Yallo emphasizes lightweight performance, kindness, and peer-to-peer security.

## Connection Modes
- **Random Text Chat**: Pairs two available adult visitors for private one-to-one text discussions. Requires no camera or microphone permissions.
- **Random Video Chat**: Instant face-to-face video and voice conversations powered by peer-to-peer WebRTC technology.
- **Connect by Number (PIN Matching)**: Allows two individuals who agree on a shared numeric code (1–32 digits) to connect directly in text, video, or voice-only mode.
- **Voice Calls**: Audio-only communication available through the Connect by Number system, requiring only microphone access while keeping cameras off.

## Safety and Privacy Architecture
- **Adults Only (18+)**: Access requires affirmative self-declaration of age (18+) and agreement to community guidelines.
- **Zero Registration**: No phone numbers, passwords, emails, or personal identities are collected or tied to user sessions.
- **WebRTC Peer-to-Peer Encryption**: Video streams, audio streams, and direct file transfers (up to 20 MB) travel directly between peers over encrypted WebRTC data channels, never stored on company servers.
- **Ephemeral Session Data**: Temporary session identifiers expire automatically upon disconnection or after inactivity.
- **Instant Leave & Moderation**: Users can disconnect at any millisecond with "Next stranger" or "Stop", and report misconduct via the Report action.
